Lily's Locks of Love

Lily actually had 10 inches of hair and she'd been begging me to cut it, so we cut it yesterday and sent it off to Locks of Love for a non-profit organization to make wigs for children. Perfect for my Lily who prays every day for the orphans and others in need. Much as I loved her hair long, blunt, and straight, she sure looks cute with her stylin' bob!

Aaaaa! When I read the title and saw that first picture I was thinking, Oh no! they chopped it off! (it looks gorgeous) But of course she's DARLING with it short. Oh my. Did you cut it? I assume so, it looks fabulous!

You're so lovely, Lil! And some little girl is going to have beautiful hair some day when her own won't grow. What an awesome gift! You rock, Lily!

Su, Sharolynn Pyeatt in the Catalog Department (you might know her) is just now suffering a second round of chemo and is losing her hair. She also lost her hair for the same reason about 20 years ago. I will send her the link. Give Lily a kiss for me. xo

My beautiful Lily, what a kind gesture for good to give your hair to someone that will appreciate it.

I love you with short hair
and I like it long
seeing your face
is like a sweet song....

Hugs and kisses for my dear little friend!!

So cute! I love the cut. Everyone's going short. Now Tyra just has to cut her hair and Tom will have the longest hair in the family, hehe.
